As a physicist by training, I started my career with leading R&D projects for Bosch and BMW.
Seeing the early potential of machine learning and GPU cloud infrastructure, I founded Genesis Cloud in 2017. As CEO, I led the team's growth to 17 members and over 5000 users, with high double-digit MoM growth rate. I exited the company at a high seven-figure valuation in 2020/21.
In recent years, I have applied my expertise at McKinsey's business building practice Leap, and via my New York City based company V4 Ventures LLC advising 20+ clients across industries on building product-driven ventures.
I currently lead Gecko Robotic's commercial power business, deploying AI and Robotics (AIR) solutions in the US power industry.
Navigating the journey from concept to scale requires not just strategy, but real-world experience. Leveraging my history of founding Genesis Cloud and guiding over 10 ventures across sectors at McKinsey's Leap, I bring a proven blueprint for success. My approach integrates continuous learning, proven success metrics and leveraging distinct competitive advantages.

The path to creating products that resonate with customers is fraught with potential missteps. With a physics background and years of spearheading product-driven businesses at McKinsey and my own startups, I apply a rigorous, data-driven, and customer-centric methodology. This approach minimizes costly errors and ensures the development of products that customers not only desire but are also willing to pay for.

I founded an AI/ML infrastructure company well before the current AI hype and helped others build diverse businesses with AI as a core enabler and differentiator including first hand implementation experience. I've also led teams to deploy robotic solutions from various vendors (e.g., Boston Dynamics) in industrial environments.

Drawing on my experience with McKinsey, where I developed and implemented strategies across a spectrum of industries, I offer insights to navigate the evolving tech landscape. My expertise is in not just understanding new technologies but in strategically positioning your organization to leverage these advancements effectively, ensuring you stay at the forefront of innovation.

Projects in Tier 1 suppliers and various OEMs around E/E architecture, hybrid and electric drivetrain energy management, emission regulations, D2C sales tooling, as well as SAE 2/3 systems.

By founding a cloud computing company providing machine learning infrastructure, I have deep insights in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS models in that field including trends regarding hardware acceleration, regulation and European sovereign cloud concepts.

Two of the startups I started catered for client's machine learning needs. I've seen countless applications of the technology in various industries of different types and sizes.

Deployed robotic solutions for data collection and inspection use cases and other hardware based solutions (e.g., handheld devices and fixed / wireless sensor solutions) in different industrial environments in the US (including mining, pulp&paper and power generation)

Advised an African insurer in building a novel e-wallet venture, blueprinted a ESG-data solution for a leading German banking player and validated a data- and ML-driven business model for a US commodity trader.

Set-up a corporate venture builder together with an Italian oil & gas leader and established and implemented a new agile operating and governance model for a green-tech energy scale-up in Spain.

Lead a team to design and implement a data ontology and data integration solution for e-commerce that identifies data drive use cases and speeds-up and automates data integration via Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Covering topics from "product-led growth" to "privacy by design" with a range of European product leaders (e.g., CPOs)

Part of the Tech Thursday sessions where I demonstrated (1) How to de-risk digital business building and (2) What a real-life example for a data- & sustainability-driven business looks like
